Three Top Tips for Your Health….in Today’s Chaos

The Health of the World…..

Recently, on 11 April 2020, the world marked International Health Day. What an interesting date and time to be thinking and considering health, both our own health and the health of every being on the planet. 

My thoughts on this day took me all over the place…down into the depths of pessimism for the future and also into the heights of rapture for the promising future and the learnings that we can have from this rare (in contemporary times) pandemic situation.

Are You in Contraction or Expansion?

I have some fairly strong opinions on health. You see, you can be either in contraction or expansion with your health. When you are in fear and doubt and worry around your health, when we needlessly fret and be anxious, what happens is that our whole system contracts. When this happens, instead of expanding outwards and choosing calm, and choosing love and an abundance of health, we actively choose unwellness. 

When we look at the chaos in the world today, it’s not surprising that we feel fear and uncertainty.  Understandably, these are anxious times. There seems to be a lot of madness going on externally. But, consider this…..if you look internally at what is going on with your personal health right now, ask yourself, “Am I choosing to be internally calm and internally focused, right now?”

What are you choosing?

Are you choosing to be expanded and calm and centered and choosing an abundance of health, or are you in contraction, in fear? Contraction and fear doesn't help your body or your immune system. It doesn't help when wanting to protect yourself from this current virus or any future assaults on your immune system. 

So, I really invite you today, to celebrate your own health and to celebrate the health that you do have right now, by choosing an abundance of health. 

It is so important to share our thoughts on health and share our resources during these times. 

So, I’m going to share my top three tips for abundant health, inside and out.

  1. Tune in and listen to what your body needs and be kind to yourself.
  2. Fuel your body with good food and include some fasting.
  3. Move your body, in the way that suits you best.
